This 1951 Ford Crown Victoria Resto-Mod is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine sending power through a 4L60E transmission and onto a 9-inch rear end with posi-traction 3.73 gears. The LT1 underwent several modifications and features thermal-coated headers and exhaust system as well as a polished aluminum radiator. For stopping power, the Crown Vic has 14-inch power assisted Baer brakes. The custom bodywork is finished in PPG’s Sunset Pearl Orange with a black top. Inside, the upholstery includes black and orange leather suede with bits of ostrich skin incorporated as well. The ’51 Ford uses a Firestone Rapid Response air bag system with dual tanks and air compressors. For the music lovers, a custom Pioneer 340-watt premium sound system is featured.
