Details
This custom 1949 Studebaker 2R5 pickup is painted black with flames done by Dave Kindig. The bodywork, coilovers, 4-link suspension, console and installation of a LoKar shifter were also completed by Dave Kindig. The custom interior features black leather with black carpet, VDO gauges and a cherry wood Banjo steering wheel that tilts with cherry wood armrests. The bed also features cherry wood, a custom tailgate, turn signals frenched in the front bumper and frenched-in taillights. Other features include a new 1965 Mustang fuel tank, new radiator and a manual fuel pump. This Studebaker rides on Intro wheels with low-profile tires, and has disc brakes in the front and rear. This custom 2R5 pickup is an award-winner, receiving the Goodguys Hot Hauler pick in 2011 and 2012, and the Goodguys Eagle One Award of Excellence in 2014.
