Details
One-off custom 1948 Ford Business Coupe that has been transformed into this rolling piece of art. This car was a 15-year build and approximately 5,000 hours in the build. It started by cutting the roof off and laying the B and C-pillars forward and forming a new sleek roof line. There are dozens of body modifications, including the suicide doors and a complete professional hand-fabricated tube chassis with every weld smoothed. The undercarriage of this car has been meticulously smoothed, painted and buffed to a mirror finish. The dash is a 1941 Ford dash that has a molded console, the engine is a 1970 Ford 429 Super Cobra Jet that has been built to a 528cid beast with over 800hp, performance Pro-Comp C4 transmission, 9' Ford read end with a nodular center section and 4.11 gears on a posi-traction unit. 35 spline axles, custom Griffith radiator, Wilwood disc brakes, one-off custom Ultraleather interior and Budnik wheels. This car was on the cover of Super Rod magazine.
