Details
A fine example of Chrysler's prestige sedan, this 1947 Town & Country Woody sedan enjoyed a recent body-up restoration with new maroon paint, interior and chrome. Powered by its original 250.6/114hp L-head inline 6 cylinder engine with Chrysler's patented, Fluid-Drive, semi-automatic transmission. Most of the wood is original and has been expertly restored prior to being re-varnished and professionally sealed. A new two-toned, cloth insert interior was duplicated to original standards and installed with matching carpets. The door panels are the proper varnished wood with polished wood garnish moldings and the headliner has matching polished wood bows. The dashboard was also properly restored and retains all of its original gauges and controls. This rare Town & Country features many factory and period accessories including radio, heater, sun visor, dual spotlights, fog lights, front and rear bumper guards and white wall tires. Recently accepted as a Full Classic by the prestigious Classic Car Club of America. It is a rare and desirable automobile.
