Description

Custom, hand-made Rat-Rod bike. Don't let the lack of paint on the bike fool you, this bike cost huge money to build and is worth every penny. Everything on the bike is custom. The wheels are the only ones out there. I-beam frame with I-beam front end. The motor is a very rare 1941 Harley-Davidson Flathead 80' Big Twin; it was rebuilt fresh and all motor work was done by Underground Cycles. All the heads we changed out to S&S high-compression heads that are copper-plated. All pushrods and engine cover are copper-plated and the carburetor is a period-correct Linkert M51 with nickel plated 4' extension to pull carb out from the motor so you can see the detail and engraving on the scoop and bowl. 4-speed V-Twin manufacturing transmission with kick start. The tranny cover has been polished and engraved, BDL open primary with hand-painted graffiti on belt. All fuel and oil lines are copper with lots of coils put in. This bike also features one-off copper-plated wheels, 26' front and 16' rear. The rear tire wears a cheater slick. More details include the custom, copper-plated oil tank with brass engraved cap, custom-made seat pan with brass rivets and hand-tooled seat pad done by Duane Ballard, one of the best in the business. This Rat-Rod bike is on air bags and lays frame. The headlight is an original brass Ford E&J from a 1920s Model T and the taillight is an original brass sidelight from a Model T. All brass on the bike is solid, no plating; there is a brass crown gas cap, brass grips, brass throttle housing, brass clutch handle, brass old-school risers and custom-made brass kick pedal. All the copper on the bike is plated, all the brass is 100% brass. **SOLD AS A SET WITH LOT 144 AND LOT 144.2**
