Details
This 1940 Willys Woody was built from scratch by Creative Concepts. The Woody was inspired by an original '40 Woody - only four are known to still exist. The body was modeled from the original and completely hand-built. The wood was laminated over the top of the hand-built steel body. All of the body was produced from a full-scale mock-up. The chassis was custom-built by Dick's Rod Shop and features Kugel independent front and rear suspension. The drivetrain is a Corvette LS1 with a GM 4L60E
transmission. Construction included air conditioning, stereo sound system, electric hood, windows and tailgate. The wood interior and leather were constructed by Mike Cooper and Howdy Ledbetter. All of the suspension has been polished and chromed to a high-end show condition. This is one of the finest handcrafted Woody customs in the country and comes from the Milton Robson collection.
