Details
This 1940 LaSalle Series 52 convertible torpedo body is one of 425 built in 1940. It’s the last production year for LaSalle, and this car had a previous restoration and is in good condition. Power is provided by a Cadillac 322ci V8 engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. The head gaskets and water pump have been replaced. This LaSalle’s options include chrome fog lights, windshield washer, radio and under-seat heaters. The car has the first vacuum-powered convertible top put into production, and it works fine. The trunk has the original upholstered boards below and above the spare tire.
