Winner of America's Most Beautiful Street Rod award and featured on the cover of Street Rodder magazine, this multiple-award-winning 1940 Chevrolet Coupe was built by craftsman Mike Keller of Big Creek Restoration. The car is powered by a 376ci (6.2-liter) LS3 V8 engine matched to a 4L60E transmission with a Currie 9-inch rear end equipped with 31-spline axles. Everything about this car is clean and uncluttered; most notably in the engine compartment, which includes an aluminum radiator tucked under a custom cover that incorporates custom LS3 badging. The stainless-steel headers and exhaust system are custom-built utilizing dual Flowmaster mufflers. This spectacular car rolls on an Art Morrison chassis and features an Art Morrison 4-link rear suspension. Braking power is provided by Wilwood 13-inch disc brakes are on all four corners and the Chevy features a RideTech air bag system. The Foose Knights wheels measure 18x7 inches up front and 20x10 inches in the rear and are shod in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 225/45R18 and 295/40ZR20 rubber. The extensive body modifications are blanketed in PPG Vibrance Cinnamon Candy over Copper to add depth and richness to the finish. A two-tone Caramel and Butterscotch leather combination were used for headliner, door panels, custom rear bench and front bucket seats. The custom dashboard and gauges reminiscent of Bulova wristwatch from the 1940s. Audio is courtesy of an Audison stereo system, which includes several Hertz speakers placed throughout the interior. Additional amenities include power windows, power steering, tilt wheel and Vintage Air climate control. This is a proven award-winner with outstanding appeal.
