This stunning restoration of a 1937 Ford station wagon sits on modern running gear. The TCI quad-link chassis is fitted with power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and coilover gas shocks. Powered by a Ford 351 V8 mated to a C6 automatic transmission.
Details
The original steel body was restored and painted by 10th Street Auto Body in Phoenix using Ford's Demo Yellow from 1937. The wood was recreated using original materials of birch and maple to original specifications and appearance by Woodn' Carr. The TCI quad-link chassis is fitted with power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and coilover gas shocks. The powertrain starts with a Ford 351 V8 producing 385hp mated to a C6 automatic transmission which is linked to a 9' Ford rear end. The interior
features the banjo steering wheel in the restored dash by Grain It Technologies along with HVAC from Vintage Air. The original locking steering column was retained as was the locking glove box. The interior was restored by Lance Troop Interiors using reproduction materials from LeBaron Bonney.
