Details

Launched in 1932 in the middle of the Great Depression, the RL is recognized as one of the models that helped Harley-Davidson to become one of only two American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the times. So famed was the model that a red 1934 RL 45 was owned by Hollywood star Clark Gable. This example is presented in red and silver and is powered by a 45ci flathead V-twin engine that routes its 18.5hp through a manual transmission. From the Larry Winkler Collection.
