Details
Finished in Candy Wild Cherry paint with silver tuck and roll, providing contrast to the white padded top as well as the running boards. This is an original steel-body car; only 2,911 were ever made in '32. The style was dropped in 1933. Nicknamed the 'Wild Cherry-Ette,' this car was built to honor the Jackman brothers and was built by Harry Jackman in 2007. Powered by a 312ci Thunderbird Y-block engine with an Isky cam and an Edelbrock dual-quad manifold mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.
Features scalloped and pinstriped clear Plexiglass floorboards to show off the chromed transmission as well as the detailed chassis components. Entered in the 58th Grand National Roadster Show, which was the 75th anniversary of the '32 Ford, where it was awarded one of the 75 most significant '32 Ford Hot Rods of all time. The original magazines from 1959 and 1962, along with the original The Rodder's Journal book, come with the car, as well as the original 1961 trophy and both sides and top pieces of the hood, which are painted the same color as the car and can be installed desired.
