Details
This vehicle is a well-known West Coast hot rod originally built in the 1960s, and has been featured on the cover and in a full write-up in Hot Rod Magazine's Street Rod Quarterly in the summer of 1971. A one-off custom chassis had been built, and the original all-steel 1929 body was stretched 2' for increased comfort. Only the best-quality components have been utilized during the entire restoration process. The interior features German square-weave pleated leather upholstery and was
custom-fabricated and tailored. This custom roadster is powered by a 540ci V8 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The all-aluminum polished engine assembly and blower cost over $40,000 alone. Total documented restoration cost exceeded $340,000.
