This particular car, with its matching mid-'40s Coca-Cola cooler trailer has some great history. It is a multi-award winning car that caught the attention of John Hendricks, who saw fit to place it in his private collection at the Colorado Gateway Museum. He also had it published in his book, 'The Performing Art of the American Automobile,' which will accompany the car at auction. This car has a steel body and fiberglass fenders. Street and Performance fuel injection system sits high and proud on this engine. The pulleys on the front of the engine have been replaced with billet machined and polished units, including the air conditioning pump. The TH350 has been chromed and painted to the body color. Suspension components at the front are from Mr. Hot Rod and is a solid, chromed and dropped front axle. The rear suspension is from a 1961 Jag that has been polished and has the inboard disc brakes. The rims are custom Budnik and match those on the trailer. Stainless steel exhaust runs from the headers to the tips. Interior pieces include a custom Lecarra leather wrapped steering wheel to match the leather dash. To make it a comfortable cabin, the seats and panels are made of tweed and leather.
