-SALE PENDING- The Oldsmobile Cutlass nameplate was first introduced in 1961 as a compact offering, but as it progressed through the '60s and into the '70s, it moved up in size and served as a platform for several performance cars - including the F85, W31 and most notably the 442. By the end of the third generation in 1972, several of the configurations and trims were condensed, but high-performance coupes and convertibles were still available. This particular 1972 Cutlass convertible has been cosmetically upgraded with many components found on the 442. Starting with the color-matched Rally wheels, a white horizontal side stripe was added. Additionally, a fiberglass hood was installed, complete with matching dual white hood stripes. A set of 442 bumpers, color-keyed mirrors and trumpet-style exhaust were added to complete the look outside. Under the hood sits a small-block 350ci engine paired to an automatic transmission, equipped with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The interior features white vinyl upholstery and a retro-look modern stereo. The white power convertible top was recently replaced and is in excellent shape as well. Mechanically the car has been very well-maintained and is documented with recent service records. With classic muscle-car style, a healthy V8 and convertible top, this Cutlass is a true turnkey example ready to drive and enjoy.
