Details
The nautical-themed 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Bill Blass Designer Edition was only produced for one week, from June 4-8, 1979. This example was shipped to Scottsdale, AZ, from Canada brand-new by its first owners and was stored during most of the year and enjoyed during the Arizona wintertime. This three-owner Mark V features a new vinyl top and functional air conditioning, and has been stored in a climate-controlled garage under current ownership. The 400ci 8-cylinder engine runs strong, with new hoses and belts recently installed, and has been upgraded with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock aluminum intake for improved power and drivability. This Mark V is equipped with automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes and power everything, as was standard on this model. It features gold boat anchor emblems on the seats, and the aluminum turbine rims feature the Blue Moondust Metallic paint between the spokes.
