Details

This 1972 Chevy C10 short-bed pickup underwent a professional restoration and custom build upgraded with modern high-performance technology throughout. It is powered by a 418ci 8-cylinder LS3 engine built by well-known Don Hardy Race Engines. The engine is completely powder-coated, has the coil packs relocated with custom valve covers and is equipped with a Billet Specialties Tru Trac black anodized serpentine system with Vintage Air. The engine is mated to a TREMEC T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a dual friction hydraulic clutch turning a Moser 9-inch Wavetrac rear end with a 4.33 gear and 33-spline axles. Making sure all that power sticks to the road is a complete Porterbuilt Fab Extreme front and rear-drop coilover suspension with power rack & pinion steering. All suspension components are powder-coated black, while the frame was sand-blasted and painted. Stopping power comes from black powder-coated Baer 14-inch 6-piston calipers up front and 13-inch 4-piston calipers out back. Other features include a Be Cool aluminum radiator and Rick's Tanks custom fuel cell. This custom C10 sits on 19x10 front and 20x12 rear Billet Specialties Concave Grinder wheels with powder-coated centers wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The interior features factory buddy buckets completely re-bolstered and refinished, custom-made carpet, an Ididit tilt steering column and Classic Instruments Auto Cross gauges. The bed floor was raised, and the cab cleared for the enhanced driveline. The under-cab has been coated with LINE-X for sound-deadening and insulation.
