Details
In 1948 Ferdinand Porsche produced a prototype AP-17 diesel tractor. It went into production in 1950. The first tractors were built in the Allgaier factory in Germany because Porsche didn't have a facility to build tractors. Allgaier built tractors until 1954. The first tractors were painted green, though in 1953 most were painted in Porsche Red, as this example is. Porsche quit building tractors in 1963, although some were assembled in 1964. This 1953 Porsche Allgaier diesel tractor is powered
by an 11hp 822cm single-cylinder engine and a manual transmission with six forward speeds and two reverse speeds. It has hydraulics and 3-point lift arms, new tires and tubes and new lights. The engine is rebuilt and many external seals on the drive train have been replaced. It has new wiring and controls, and new paint with new clear coat. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE**
