Details
This Woody was found abandoned in the Australian Outback in relic condition. It was totally rebuilt by a hot rod shop in Australia as a Resto-Mod. Many of the parts used were sourced from a 1960s Australian Holden/Chevrolet. The wood body has been reconstructed using Tasmanian Oak and the steel dash was sourced from another Australian car. This woody has a Ford 351ci 8-cylinder Cleveland engine, C4 automatic transmission, front disc brakes, rack & pinion steering, widened and strengthened wire wheels, and an 8-inch rear end. It's also equipped with front disc brakes, SS exhaust, bucket seats and power windows. A complete mechanical restoration and update to U.S. specifications was completed in December 2020. This has been a very unique vehicle in the National Woodie Club of America for the past 20 years.
