Details
Built in 2010, this roadster was designed by Chris Ito and hand-fabricated by Steve's Auto Restorations. This custom was created as a prototype for a project known as the 'Double Dozen.' Initial plans called for a dozen fully fendered and a dozen fenderless examples to be available by commission. Plans changed, however, and only one steel-bodied prototype was produced. This is that car. Power comes from a supercharged 4.6-liter V8 engine that is routed through an automatic transmission. A Mustang Cobra independent rear suspension is paired with handmade upper and lower control arms that feature a cantilevered coilover arrangement. It also won recognition for its interior, engineering, undercarriage and overall display at the 2011 Grand National Roadster Show. From the Petersen Museum collection. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
