Details

Nicknamed 'Durty 30,' this custom Ford is powered by a 6.0-liter all-aluminum fuel-injected Corvette LS2 engine wearing a centrifugal Vortec supercharger, Callies crank, K1 pistons and custom blower cam producing 585rwhp. The engine is also outfitted with a custom billet alternator mount with CNC heads, a custom air-to-water intercooler, custom powder-coated black 4-core aluminum radiator with electric fan, custom headers, custom aluminum fuel tank, and a high-heat ceramic-coated 3-inch exhaust

system with Borla mufflers and square tips built into the frame. The engine and transmission are Cerakote painted and detailed with hand-built engine covers. Every nut and bolt is dry-filmed, ARP stainless or polished. The 6L80E automatic transmission has a 3200 Yank stall converter and turns an independent Ford 8.8-inch rear end with Ford Motorsports 456 gears, Auburn posi-traction, custom 1,000hp-capable axles and a custom aluminum driveshaft. A set of Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with 13-inch rotors, 6-piston calipers and electric brake master cylinder provides the stopping power. The original 1932 Ford frame rails were widened, bobbed, boxed and reinforced, and the all-stainless custom Indy-style cantilever pushrod suspension was built on top of the frame to get the car as low as possible. This suspension features RideTech Shockwave air-ride in the front and rear, custom front and rear sway bars and multiple one-off polished billet components. The one-off 24x15 and 21x9 custom Kompression wheels were the first true 4-piece floating spoke wheels ever made and were unveiled at SEMA 2016. They're polished and brushed with Candy Copper clear and wrapped in Pirelli 255/30/21 front and 405/25/24 rear tires. Durty 30's original steel 1930 Ford Model A body was widened 8 inches and stretched 6 inches, the door handles smoothed, actuated suicide doors installed, and an altered 1940 Chevy hood and modified 1938 Terraplane grille were installed. Custom LED headlights and signal lights were built into a billet crossmember, and a 1938 Ford truck windshield that was flipped upside down with a tinted bronze glass was installed. This Ford is finished in a custom-blended Glasurit black paint with copper/gold flake and Orange Candy topped with eight coats of clear. The roof is fully custom and removable and is covered in ostrich hide with a polished aluminum backbone that the two roof halves are attached to and custom solid copper water-jet-cut and polished brackets. The interior features triple-layered polished stainless, real copper and painted aluminum floating seats with suede inserts, Racepak dash with stainless and ebony inserts, ebony hardwood floor, 2011 Cadillac CTSV console, push-button start and a signal light switch hidden in the shifter boot. It also features a custom floating console with iPad surround and custom solid copper rearview mirror mount. A few of the awards and accomplishments garnered by this custom ride include Goodguys Builder's Choice Awards at the Spokane, WA, and Pleasanton, CA, events, and an invitation to the Grand National Roadster Show in Los Angeles, where the car dash was signed by Chip Foose. CRS2 Video gaming company from England approached the owner at SEMA and now Durty 30 is featured in one of their popular video games.
