1975 VOLKSWAGEN 23-WINDOW MICROBUS RE-CREATION

This 1975 Volkswagen 23-window microbus re-creation has undergone a two-year, high-quality rotisserie restoration by USA Custom Projects. It is powered by a rebuilt 1600cc 4-cylinder air-cooled engine with a new single 34 carburetor and electronic ignition, paired with an IRS 4-speed manual transmission. A new steering roller box has been installed. The front suspension has been fully restored with new parts. The rear suspension features an upgraded IRS restored to original specifications. The front brakes have been upgraded to disc, with a new double master cylinder and booster, while the rear brakes retain their original design but are completely renewed. It rides on new 185/65-15 tires, with the spare relocated to its original rear position, all mounted on new Porsche 912 aluminum wheels with chrome hubcaps. The electrical system has been completely renewed and features new lamps, wiring harnesses, battery lights and custom Angel Eyes headlights. The exterior features a two-tone black and white paint, with pop-out safari-style split window, a sliding ragtop sunroof, luggage rack with a ladder and eight skylights. It also includes a new set of green glasses, new stainless-steel side mirrors, and new front and rear chrome bumpers. The interior is fully customized with burgundy leather upholstery, with front seating for three and L-shaped seating for five. The rear bench folds into a bed, ideal for camping. The cabin is equipped with a touchscreen multimedia center featuring Bluetooth connectivity and four speakers, along with a built-in pop-out Smart TV that connects to Wi-Fi or cellular networks. Additional amenities include a retractable table with cup holders, integrated LED lighting and a laminated wood floor, and safety is enhanced with retractable front seat belts and five seat belts in the rear. Finishing touches include an original-style restored speedometer with a modern red LED light, stainless-steel rearview mirror, vintage-style curtains, a modern vintage cooler and a picnic basket.
