One of just 2,853 produced for the model year, this highly optioned and high-specification 1966 Oldsmobile 442 convertible is one of 240 convertibles powered by the optional 360hp RPO L69 V8 engine that year. This example is the recipient of a recent ground-up restoration, with power delivered by the optional 400/360hp L69 V8 engine, equipped with correct Tri-Power carburetors. It is one of 1,448 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission driving an anti-spin limited-slip rear axle mounting the later-model W27 aluminum differential cover. Options and amenities include power steering and power brakes with an upgraded dual-circuit master cylinder. This example rolls on Super Stock chrome wheels and radial tires and sports a refinish in its factory color of Burgundy Mist, complemented by a matching power top and black bucket-seat interior.
