1965 CHEVROLET C10 CUSTOM PICKUP 'C10 SLAYER'

This world-famous custom 1965 Chevrolet C10 6x6 pickup known as 'C10 Slayer' is powered by a built 900hp LSX B15 6.2-liter engine from Chevrolet that has a 5-liter Whipple supercharger on top, along with 8-stack fuel injection. That power is backed by a fully built racing 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission with a Reid Racing case. It's tuned to produce 900hp on pump gas. To finish off the power plant, there are two custom racing rear-end housings built to withstand over 1,500hp. One of these race housings was created with a pass-through driveshaft, making both tandem axles powered to create a 4-wheel burnout if needed. The TIG-welded chassis is a full tube, hand-built racing chassis that utilizes a roll cage from the front to the back, along with many custom features holding racing cooling systems and suspension parts. The suspension is a full hydraulic coilover shock that lifts the truck all the way from the ground to a 5-inch-tall ride height with the touch of an electronic button, while still maintaining the same ride quality at any height. The Matte Black exterior features widebody fenders, a front spoiler and cab wing that started as fully CNC-machined molds to make perfect parts. The factory hood had to be created into three pieces to keep the fenders stationary for the widebody. The rear of the truck showcases a diffuser encased by a widened tailgate to simulate a factory look, followed by a full carbon-fiber custom wing created to be partially open to see the detail of the tandem axles, suspension setup and custom parts. This C10 is sitting on six one-off, three-piece custom 20-inch billet-machined wheels perfectly fit to the widebody with Michelin racing tires. The interior roll cage was grafted into the original factory interior to capture the original feeling and to accomplish complete race car safety. The black/gray interior has the feel of a modern truck with digital electronics, carbon-fiber panels and comfortability. All interior aluminum panels, firewall, floorboards and roll cage are handcrafted. The billet-machined brake lever and pedals are connected to 6-disc racing brakes. The complete wire harness is CAD-drawn and built with all aircraft MilSpecWiring that also has headlights, taillights and turn signals built in for functionality. 'C10 Slayer' was created to look like a real-life Hot Wheels truck by professional vehicle builders Doug and Brad DeBerti of DeBerti Design. The father-son team has over 10 Best of Show awards from the SEMA Show, along with dozens of design awards. The build was documented from day one on DeBerti's YouTube channel. 'C10 Slayer' has been the cover of Street Trucks magazine, was a three-time SEMA booth show truck, has gone viral on social media and has made appearances with Hoonigan. This custom pickup will be featured in Microsoft's 'Forza Horizon 5' vehicle video game in late 2024 and is also currently pending to be become a Mattel Hot Wheels truck in 2025.
