Restored in 2022 to European specification-look, this 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo, commonly known as a 993, is powered by a factory twin-turbo engine that produces over 400hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The entire car was repainted in the factory Porsche color of Oak Green Metallic, including the wheel centers. During the restoration, the sunroof was removed to create more headroom and the European lightweight spec. Both front and rear bumpers were replaced to remove the bumperettes, clear corner lights were added and headlamp washer jets removed. In the interior, the racing-style sport seats were completely retrimmed and painted in Oak Green Metallic to match the exterior of the car, a Porsche classic radio was added, along with custom Porsche retro green gauges, a custom Wedge Oak shift knob, custom-painted shift boot and surround, a 3-spoke sport steering wheel added and aluminum racing pedals. The factory Brembo brake calipers were refinished in gray and four Michelin Pilot Sport tires were fitted. The history file is complete with over $75,000 in recent work, which also includes a complete protective film cover on the entire car. Underside photos show the extensive detail of the entire chassis, with receipts to validate the entire restoration process. It is one of the final renditions of the air-cooled 911 Turbo.
