This 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC was sold by Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills to late-night host Johnny Carson, who kept the car until 2003. It was acquired by its previous owner in February 2017, and subsequent work included body and paint repairs, overhauling its suspension, and servicing its 5.5-liter M117 V8 engine, 4-speed automatic transmission and air conditioning. Finished in an Arctic White exterior over an Anthracite leather interior, it is equipped with a limited-slip differential and 15-inch Gullideckel alloy wheels. The cabin has heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, power windows, CocoMats and a Becker cassette stereo. This car was featured in the January-February 2022 edition of MBCA's The Star magazine.
