Details

This 1987 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup received a full frame-off restoration finished in late 2023, which was completed on an original short-bed Silverado pickup. It is powered by an upgraded 6.0-liter LS engine with Stage 3 camshaft and new injectors, hooked to an upgraded 4L65E automatic transmission with 2800 stall converter. The engine breathes out of Doug Thorley headers and a MagnaFlow dual exhaust. It also has new dual fuel tanks and fuel pumps. Other features include Slosh Tubz inner fenders, all-new wiring, a Holley oil pan and an air-conditioning compressor bracket. Stopping is provided by a Wilwood front brake kit and Little Shop Manufacturing rear disc brakes. The rear end was shortened 2 inches on each side with new gears, and Dutchman axles and posi-traction were added. The suspension was lowered with CPP spindles and uses tubular upper and lower arms, new lowering springs with C-notched rear. The frame and all suspension parts were either powder-coated or blasted and repainted. The chrome, trim and bumpers were polished or rechromed, and the hardware was zinc-plated. This pickup rides on 22-inch Billet Raceline wheels with Toyo Proxes tires. The custom paint and bodywork were finished by PSI in Ontario, CA, who also widened the rear tubs, tucked in the rear bumper, Raptor-lined underneath the cab and inside the bed. The custom interior done by Elegance Upholstery in Upland, CA, features a custom Bluetooth stereo installed by Art of Sound. The pickup was purchased new in Yorba Linda and has spent 37 years in California.
