This one-of-one 1983 Mercedes-Benz G Wagon custom SUV is a fresh extensive restoration build completed November 2024. It is powered by an upgraded 2.7-liter M110 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz fuel-injected engine paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. It has over CA$140,000 in invoices, including complete transmission rebuild for CA$16,575. This example was fully sorted from front to back, including fluids/filters, transmission service, new fuel injectors, fuel distributor, refurbished gas tank, four new shocks installed, new brake discs installed, new tie rods, new fuel lines, custom new fabricated exhaust, totaling over CA$21,000 between October and November 2024 with invoices to prove. It rides on an exterior vehicle lift kit, custom-made Augment 16-inch Satin Black aluminum wheels with four brand-new oversized Nitto tires installed, along with a matching fifth exterior-mounted aluminum wheel full spare. A strip and complete paint of the vehicle in a new-generation Mercedes-Benz Solarbeam Yellow color, with the paint and body refinish alone costing CA$30,000. The exterior features laser-straight new body panels, correct panel fitment and proper body gaps, a painted roof in high-gloss black, along with new exterior moldings, new front black bush bar, new main LED fog lamps, new lower LED fog lamps, new-generation headlamps with LED lights, new exterior lenses, an extensive amount of new rubber trim, painted-black front grille, new black fender lip extensions and new running boards. It also has complete exterior XPEL protector installed over the entire vehicle and Ceramic Pro exterior paint protector, as well as powder-coat on interior and exterior parts. It is equipped with the Trailer Package. The interior features brand-new Recaro Expert M leather front sport seats with custom houndstooth inserts installed on the door panels, side panels and rear door. It also has a new black inner roof liner, tinted windows and a premium audio system with Bluetooth. This G-Wagen build took more than two years to complete and totaled more than CA$140,000, with included invoices to prove it.
