This four-wheel-drive custom 1982 Jeep Scrambler is powered by a GM ZZ383 V8 crate engine with a Mr. Gasket fuel pressure gauge and valve-cover breathers, a Kuss Filtration fuel filter, Summit Racing ignition cables, a polished air cleaner assembly, billet aluminum belt drive system, Edelbrock carburetor and Holley fuel pump. The engine is backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission down to a dual-range transfer case with manually locking front hubs. Stopping is provided by a set of front disc brakes and rear drums. It rides on a BDS suspension lift kit with Goodyear tires. The exterior was refinished in its current shade of black in 2017 by Retired Rides in Pelham, AL, and features stainless-steel bumpers and polished grille, handles and hinges, as well as a receiver hitch. The interior features bucket seats, a roll bar, air conditioning, JVC stereo, Pioneer speakers and a subwoofer between the seats in the rear. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an 85-mph speedometer, along with an analog clock, tachometer, Crown automotive voltmeter and an AutoMeter oil pressure gauge.
