Details
This custom 1980 Porsche 911 SC was purpose-built for track use and is powered by a 1992 3.6-liter twin-plug engine producing 380hp, paired with a 915-gearbox featuring factory SC close-ratio gears and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with ERP full race suspension, Charlie Bars, 996/997 turbo brakes with fresh braided lines and Super Blue brake fluid. Additional features include a fiberglass hood and trunk, a full welded roll cage, a SuperTrapp exhaust and 17-inch Kinesis wheels. The exterior features an IROC front spoiler with an integrated oil cooler, working headlights and quick-release fasteners for easy removal. The rear bumper is IROC style but not removable. Steel turbo fenders were butt-welded on, with front fender modifications for brake and oil cooling. This car has no sunroof, a gutted interior, a lap transponder, camera mount and custom wiring for the lighting system. Originally a European-market SC, this car has been used in POC/PCA time trial events and was built by Ruben Morales and Herminio Llevat. Recently serviced in 2022 with a complete bumper-to-bumper inspection and cosmetic restoration, this car has been on the big track at Willow Springs for testing only. It comes with registration.
