Summary

Known in the car community as "Tanzanite." Fresh 0-mile rotisserie restoration. Powered by a fuel-injected 5.0-liter Ford Coyote Gen 3 engine mated to a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission.

Details

This 4-door 1974 Ford Bronco, known in the car community as "Tanzanite," is a completely fresh, out-of-the wrapper, full-rotisserie-restoration custom built by Ikonic Concepts that took over 4,000 man-hours to create, assemble and finish, with every nut and bolt new and with only shakedown miles to date. Underneath the hood sits a fuel-injected 5.0-liter Ford Coyote Gen 3 engine, with a Ford Racing control pack. To efficiently harness this power, it is mated to a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission with four-wheel drive, a Ford transfer case and an electronic rotary-dial shifter. The engine exhales through polished stainless headers and dual exhaust exiting under the vehicle. The engine is cooled by an AlloyWorks HD aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The hood is equipped with gas struts. It features all-new brake and fuel lines, along with an all-new wiring harness and a custom driveshaft. The entire 1974 driveline and suspension was removed and replaced, front to back. The Bright Red subframe assembly features a 2-inch body lift, four-corner coilover shocks with 8 inches of travel, 4-link front and rear Panhard bars, front and rear sway bars, Borgeson steering box, Ford 9-inch housings, 4.11 Motive Performance posi-traction gears, chromoly axles, a custom alloy fuel tank with an Aeromotive pump, and hydro-boost power Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. It rides on custom 20-inch rims with performance tires. The fully handcrafted all-metal body, with a professionally lengthened and widened frame and chassis, features custom Lincoln-inspired suicide doors with a B-pillar for ease of entry to the four bucket seats and rear bench seat. The exterior was professionally finished in a proprietary blend of Elduret Performance Blue two-stage exterior paint with Scottish White contrasting trim, all covered with layers of clearcoat. The engine compartment areas were prepared the same as the exterior and also painted body color with multiple coats of clear. The overall body gaps and alignment are laser-straight, and the fit and finish of the body lines and seams are tight. It is equipped with a custom white interior, which features three rows of seating, four bucket seats, a custom center console and a rear bench seat, along with three-point seat belts for the two rows of captain's chairs and lap belts for the third row. It features a tilt steering column, a custom vintage-style wood steering wheel, custom-painted roll bar and a dash cluster with Dakota Digital VHX gauges. It is equipped with a modern push-button electric start, along with keyless entry and central power door locks. Sound is provided by a modern Pioneer 7-inch touchscreen head unit with speakers and a Pioneer 1,000-watt amplifier. Safety and security features include fuel pump Ford inertia cutoff and an automatic gas tank rollover cutoff valve. For security it has a Smart RFID Security Card with electric push-button start, two key fobs and a battery master cutoff switch. The sale includes a complete build book with comprehensive photos of the rotisserie restoration from beginning to end, a Marti Report documenting the vehicle's birth as a 1974 Ford Bronco and listing all its factory options, and a white Bimini top to install when needed, which covers the full roll bar area.
