Details

This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer underwent a full nut-and-bolt, rotisserie restoration and is powered by a GM Performance Parts 6.2-liter Gen V LT1 V8 engine with Connect & Cruise Package producing 455hp and 455 ft/lbs of torque, backed by a 4L70E overdrive automatic transmission and a rebuilt NP205 transfer case. The engine features a CVF serpentine kit and custom air box, and breathes through a custom stainless exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. This K5 sits on a factory chassis that was sandblasted, extra holes welded up, body-worked and painted to a show-car finish. The axles have been rebuilt with new seals, bearings, ball joints and new Warn hubs installed. The suspension on the truck consists of Skyjacker Softride 4-inch lift springs and Fox remote reservoir shocks. It rolls on 18-inch KMC beadlock wheels and BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes and a power-assisted Wilwood master cylinder setup. The brake lines and fuel lines have been built using stainless steel. The Amp Research power steps have been fit to work with the Blazer rocker boxes. Altman latches were used in the doors for easy closing, while the tailgate has soft-close latches. A hidden gas filler located behind the taillight allows filling of the Boyd Welding aluminum fuel tank. The exterior is finished in its factory color of GM Medium Olive Green and white, and the body of this K5 received a rotisserie restoration, with the bottom painted in the same Medium Olive Green paint and clearcoat finish as the top. The removable top to this Blazer has a Legacy sliding ragtop installed. The wiring is an American Autowire kit, along with GM factory computers and wiring harnesses. It also had all the seals, gaskets and glass replaced. The interior has been done in a way to resemble a factory Blazer with some upgraded amenities. Dakota Digital RTX gauges were used for the instrumentation, a custom radio that looks factory but has Bluetooth capabilities was installed, and a Vintage Air system Gen IV unit, tilt steering column and a Budnik steering wheel add comfort and style. **TITLED AS 1972 CHEV KS BLAZER**
