Dubbed “WickedZ,” this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Pro-Touring has been rebuilt with performance and style in mind. It is powered by a Mast Motorsport Black Label LS7 V8 engine topped with a Whipple Supercharger that generates 900hp at the crank, translating to 750whp on the ground, and was recently tuned at DynoComp in Scottsdale to run on 91 pump gas. This engine has approximately 4,700 miles on it, and is cooled by an oversized Wizard radiator with 3800 CFM electric fans, and fuel-fed from a Rick's stainless 20-gallon gas tank with two 340 EFI pumps and completely new PTFE fuel hose lines and fittings. The engine's power is connected via a Ram Powergrip HD triple disc clutch to a new Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission with a Hurst Shifter, through a balanced driveshaft to a new 9-inch panhard rear end with Heidts Pro-G 4-link. The suspension features adjustable Heidts coilover shocks and up front has Pro-Touring tubular control arms. Stopping power is aided through a complete CPP brake system, utilizing CPP HydraStop hydraulic-assisted system. This car rides on black Billet Specialties wheels with Detroit Speed tubs added to accommodate the massive tires in back. The Matte Black exterior wrap, so it could be removed if the new owner would like to reveal the original orange paint underneath. It also features custom dual carbon-fiber racing stripes framed in orange pinstriping, and has has been dressed up with a custom hood, custom chin spoiler and rear deck spoiler. The interior has been entirely redone with black upholstery. Prior to being installed, the interior was completely covered with Boom Mat sound proofing for sound and temperature control. It features dual Sparco Evo L racing bucket seats, with six-point harnesses attached to a custom fabricated roll bar that extends into the trunk, where you will find an Optima Yellowtop battery with cut-off switch. The dash features Dakota Digital gauges with an Autometer temperature gauge and Whipple gauge on the pillar. It also features a Vintage Air system underdash unit that blows cold, along with an AM/FM/CD/Aux/Bluetooth stereo from Alpine.
