This custom four-wheel-drive 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer CST was frame-off rotisserie-restored by Smoky Mountain Custom Classics and is powered by a Gen 3 6.0-liter LS V8 engine backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission with an NP208 transfer case. It is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, a CPP hydro-boost brake system, new 3.73 front and rear ring & pinion gears, and double-cylinder Fox shocks. This vehicle is finished in Gloss Black with a clearcoat undercarriage, new sheet metal front to rear, a sandblasted and powder-coated frame with all-new bushings and leaf springs, all-new nuts/bolts and coil relocation in channel of the frame. The engine was built with a Truck Norris cam, high-rise intake with a Dirty Dingo billet air conditioner and alternator brackets, four-core aluminum radiator with 6AN hose and fittings for transmission lines, Dirty Dingo engine crossmember, Holley oil pan, raised-rib transmission pan, shorty headers and a new exhaust system with X-pipe for added performance, as well as a windshield washer hose relocation. The body is finished in Jet Black with upper and lower molding matching a '72, along with a removable top painted/textured with new dome lights, new quarter-glass and rear liftgate glass, new windshield and windshield chrome with weatherstripping, and LED side-marker lights. It rolls on aluminum Mickey Thompson wheels with Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires. The all-new interior features scrolled upholstery, new seat belts and doors with all-new components, including glass and aftermarket power windows with vintage-style handles.
