This custom 1971 Chevrolet C30 dually pickup is powered by a 5.9-liter compound-turbo-equipped Cummins inline-6 diesel engine hooked to a 4-speed 48RE automatic transmission producing over 800hp. This pickup was built by Eksensive Metal Works, which premiered in three separate episodes of the TV show 'Texas Metal.' Finished in a PPG Light Blue paint, it underwent a full body rebuild, starting life as a 1971 C10 half-ton pickup, this build is completely customized into a C30 configuration using a cut-down Suburban, with 3% of the original sheet metal used. It sits on a full Ekstensive custom-made chassis with control arm front suspension with hand-built crossmembers and air-bag brackets. The rear suspension features a hand-built parallel 4-link setup with air bags, Viair 444 dual-pack valves and Wilwood brakes. It also features a front roll pan, custom-made firewall, shaved doors, custom-cut glass, flush-fit front and rear glass, an added fourth door, a custom bed with race floor and hand-built dually fenders. It also features a custom fuel cell. It rides on polished billet aluminum 24-inch American Force wheels. The interior was completely handcrafted, including the dashboard, door and seats wrapped in gray leather, along with a custom center console with air-ride controls, gauges and vents. Along with LED lighting, it also features a JL Audio sound system with Bluetooth and a modular Rockford Fosgate T64 amplifier.
