This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special is one of 24 Twister Specials built with the 428 Super Cobra Jet engine featuring a Shaker hood, C6 transmission and the factory Drag Pack option that added heavy-duty performance engine internals, flywheel and damper and a remote engine oil cooler. This Mach 1 Twister Special features a Mustang SportsRoof, grille-mounted fog lights, aluminum lower rocker panels, black honeycomb rear panels, competition suspension, and the Mach 1 deluxe bucket-seat interior with molded door panels, console, wood-grain trim and a 3-spoke rim-blow steering wheel. The Twister Specials were a series of Mach 1 Mustangs built exclusively for Ford's Kansas City sales district dealers, with just 96 were made in total. This special Mach 1 was sold new at Jayhawk Ford Inc. in Parsons, KS, and has gone through an extensive body-off restoration. The sale includes a Window Sticker, shipping invoices, Build Sheet, warranty booklet, owner's manual and a Deluxe Marti Report.
