This custom 1969 Chevrolet C10 fleetside short-bed pickup is powered by a 454ci big-block V8 engine with internally polished heads, Edelbrock Torker intake and Edelbrock Performer 650 carburetor. The engine is mated to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission with a mild shift kit. The independent rear suspension puts the power to the ground with a 3.43-geared posi-traction rear end. The engine bay features a custom fan shroud and inner fender panels. It is also equipped with an aluminum radiator and a rear-exit dual exhaust system. This C10 is fitted with C4 Corvette independent front and rear suspension. The front has a custom-fabricated crossmember with power rack & pinion steering. It also features front and rear sway bars and QA1 coilovers at all four corners. Stopping is handled with C4 Corvette front and rear power-assisted disc brakes using a Corvette master cylinder and drilled and slotted rotors. The C4 Corvette suspension provides an aggressive stance and handling for this C10, which rides on 20-inch polished aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. The expertly worked body is finished in DuPont Linen White two-stage base/clearcoat. The interior features a 60/40 split bench seat and loop carpet, along with Vintage Air system, custom Autosound AM/FM digital radio, a tilt steering column and a Billet Specialties steering wheel. With a feature in Classic Trucks Magazine, this complete show-quality custom pickup was built by Gortsema Fabrication, a Washington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame inductee and chosen as the Builder of the Year in 2019. It has been driven 700 miles since completion.
