Nicknamed "The Whale on Wheels," this 1968 Ultra Van motor home is powered by a rebuilt 164 flat-6 140hp engine paired with a fully rebuilt 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission and rolls on U.S. Mags wheels. This was made in Kansas by the Ultra Van Corporation with an all-aluminum monocoque construction, like an airplane, and the nose and tail sections made completely of fiberglass. This motor home measures 22 feet long, 8 feet wide and has 6 feet of headroom. The body has been completely restored and refinished with PPG BBC basecoat and three coats of clear over the top. A new air-conditioning rooftop unit has been installed, along with a new furnace. The interior includes tinted windows, swivel front seats, storage throughout, and new flooring, sink, cabinets and insulated walls. The dinette features a table, chairs, a new refrigerator and countertops. The bathroom features a new toilet, shower, plumbing and a fan vent. The sleeping area, with all-new foam and bedding included, sleeps two comfortably and can be blocked off using the swinging bathroom door.
