Details

This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Resto-Mod convertible underwent a complete professional rotisserie restoration that was completed in August 2024 by Dave Smith and Nostalgic Enterprises. This Corvette is powered by a 6.0-liter GM LS2 V8 engine mated to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission with push-button start and gear selection, and a rear differential with 3.70-gear ratio. With the push of a button, the power-actuated hood opens to show the smoothed firewall of the engine bay, where the well-dressed LS2 and Patriot headers can be seen, along with lots of chrome. Its foundation is the refurbished factory-equipped chassis that has been fitted with the latest suspension, steering components and braking systems. The stock frame was completely stripped, restored and refitted with RideTech's front and rear coilover system with adjustable shocks. Stopping is provided by power-assisted Wilwood front and rear brakes and rotors, which can be seen hiding behind the 18-inch Ridler wheels. The exterior is expertly finished in Deep Silver Metallic paint complemented by Dynamic Corvette's front and rear carbon-fiber bumpers. The custom interior is finished in red leather and features custom-stitched high-rise bucket seats, as well as a custom molded one-off center console that houses the Alpine touchscreen and Dakota Digital climate controls to adjust the temperature of the Vintage Air system. It also features power windows and power steering. Behind the red leather steering wheel sit the Dakota Digital HDX gauges. The nighttime red ambient lighting is enjoyed during evening drives while listening to the Alpine speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer that lives under the decklid. This C3 is equipped with a brand-new black vinyl soft-top stored under the decklid, as well as a backup camera. This fresh build has approximately 300 test/tune miles. The sale includes manuals and spec sheets that went into the build, as well as access to hundreds of pictures of the C3 throughout the build process.
