This 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition convertible is a licensed design inspired by the fastback featured in cinema. Under the hood is a Roush Stage 2 supercharged 4.6-liter V8 engine making 725hp, equipped with performance components such as BBK headers, a MagnaFlow stainless-steel dual exhaust system for optimal flow and sound, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with an integrated fan to maintain consistent temperatures. The fuel delivery system has been upgraded with a Fuel Safe fuel cell. The engine is paired with a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission with a dual hydraulic clutch, down to a Currie 9-inch Traction-Lok rear end with traction lock. The suspension system has been completely rebuilt with custom components. Stopping power comes from 4-wheel SSBC Force 19 slotted disc brakes. It is finished in black and Pepper Gray paint with Silver stripes and captures the essence of the original Eleanor with its distinctive styling elements, including PIAA driving lights mounted in the front grille, Shelby-style sequential taillights and 17-inch American Racing Shelby 10-spoke wheels. A new hydraulic convertible top frame was added. This example features a fully customized interior that integrates both style and functionality. The Recaro bucket seats provide driver and passenger support, while a Shelby-style tilt steering wheel, billet pedals and a roll bar add to its sporting feel. The Shelby center console houses auxiliary gauges for volts and boost, while the billet dash bezel is fitted with Carroll Shelby Signature Series instruments, including a 200-mph speedometer, tachometer and gauges for water temperature, fuel level and oil pressure. Power windows add a touch of modern convenience, and there's a four-speaker audio system with CD capability. This example has covered 1,510 miles since restoration.
