This custom 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is a complete show-quality custom build completed in November 2024 by Artistic Customs in Jasper, OR. This Chevelle is powered by a new GM Performance 6.2-liter LS3 engine topped with Borla stacked fuel injection mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. The engine has been outfitted with a Wegner front-drive system, Wegner custom billet valve covers and Ultimate stainless headers. Key customizations include a smooth firewall, widened rear wheel tubs, a custom tunnel and a custom-fabricated air intake. It is equipped with fully adjustable coilover suspension, a 4-link rear end and a Moser 3.73 Detroit Truetrac center section. The Baer 6-piston calipers clamp down on 14-inch rotors to provide stopping power. With attention to detail throughout, it sits on a Roadster Shop chassis that has been powder-coated black, and the exterior is finished in Sikkens black paint, laid over a body that was acid-dipped. This Chevelle rides on custom-made Schott Cover-Loc wheels with Diamond Back classic red line radial tires. Some other features include a TIG-welded exhaust system, a Rick's stainless-steel fuel tank, stainless-steel brake lines and Eddie Motorsports hood hinges. The custom red Mercedes-Benz leather interior was done by award-winner Jon Lind and features Dakota Digital gauges, a Vintage Air system and power windows.
