Details
This custom 1967 Chevrolet C10 panoramic-cab short-bed pickup built by Adams Customs in Arizona underwent a complete frame-off, nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration. Power is provided by a brand-new GM Connect & Cruise 525hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine backed by a brand-new 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission connected to a posi-traction 12-bolt rear end painted to match. The engine bay has been completely redesigned, including Hart Fab wheel tubs and firewall, a fully custom TIG-welded core support panel, custom cold-air intake and radiator tubes. The engine is cooled by a custom dual-fan aluminum radiator. Additional upgrades include a new Holley Mid-Mount serpentine front runner system and fitted with hidden coil packs under \"Chevrolet\" script valve covers. This pickup sits on a Porterbuilt front and back-half RideTech coilover suspension with a boxed, body-worked and painted chassis, paired with fully tubular trailing arms, A-arms, and a rack & pinion steering system. The fully custom cantilever bed features widened wheel tubs and custom-cut wood for a seamless finish. A custom pair of Schott Cover-Loc 20x8.5-inch and 20x11-inch inch wheels set the look of this C10, alongside the huge 14- and 13-inch Wilwood rotors paired with 6- and 4-piston Wilwood calipers. The braking system is further enhanced by a Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve, along with custom-built stainless-steel brake lines. The fuel system features a custom-built stainless-steel fuel line and an aluminum Boyd Welding gas tank. Spent gases exit through a dual 3-inch Borla exhaust system, featuring a stainless mandrel-bent TIG-welded exhaust with long-tube headers. This pickup has been taken down to bare metal and completely reworked, including refining the door gaps for a high-end show-quality, seamless fit and finish. The exterior has been professionally finished with Sherwin-Williams basecoat and top shelf clearcoat. The vintage Porsche Ice Green color is accented by Linen White, meticulously cut and polished to a mirror-like finish. Modern functionality meets classic design with upgraded door latches and tailgate latches replaced by modern bear claw latches, reworked for soft-closing functionality. The hood and rear hatch hinges have been upgraded to gas struts, ensuring a precision fit and smooth operation. The fully custom interior, crafted by Ceballos Customs, features factory buddy bucket seats that have been fitted with bolster foam and upholstered in Apex Auto leather. Fully custom door panels and a behind-the-seat panel add a modern touch to the interior. The dash is completed with a brand-new set of Dakota Digital gauges, while the sound is provided by a Classic Car Stereo with leather-wrapped kick panels. Underneath the dash, a brand-new 21-circuit wiring harness integrates with the GM fuse block. The steering column was replaced with an Ididit tilt column, paired with a new 15-inch original-style steering wheel painted to match and including a CST horn button.
