Details
This custom 1965 Peterbilt pickup is the recipient of a two-year build. It is powered by a V12-71 Detroit Diesel engine fitted with twin superchargers and twin turbos that originated from a generator, mated to a 740D Allison 4-speed automatic transmission with a 3.06 rear end. The radiator was recored. It rides on an upgraded frame with air-ride suspension in the front and rear. Stopping is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with all-new components and a rear drum parking brake hooked to an electric actuator. The roof was chopped 6 inches, and the vent windows were eliminated from the doors.
