This custom 1962 Ford F-100 "Flo" build started with the vision of creating a one-of-a-kind pickup. This Flo build is powered by a 5.0-liter Gen2 Coyote V8 engine, sourced from a 2017 GT Mustang, coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The foundation of the build is a full-frame GSI chassis, which was designed and engineered to support the pickup's performance and stance. This custom chassis is not only stronger than the original, but it also features air-ride suspension, giving this pickup a flexible and adjustable ride height. Whether the owner wants to drop it low or raise it up, the air-ride system offers complete control over this pickup's height and ride quality. Once the GSI chassis was fabricated, it was stripped and sent off for powder-coating to ensure durability, corrosion resistance and a clean, high-quality finish. This treatment enhances the longevity of the chassis. One feature of this build is the swapping of the original 1962 bed with a 1964 F-100 bed. The newer bed design brings a slightly more modern appearance to the pickup, while retaining the classic F-100 aesthetic. The bed was completely redesigned with updated structure and reinforcement, ensuring it provides both functionality and a custom touch that complements the rest of the build. This pickup has been finished in a brand-new white paint. To further enhance its stance, the Flo build is fitted with a custom set of Kompression wheels, 22x9-inch front and 24x11-inch rear. The large rear wheels add to the pickup's appearance while providing a wider footprint for better performance and grip. The interior has been completely revamped with premium materials and modern touches, from custom seats to a newly designed dashboard.
