This factory E-code 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner retractable hardtop is powered by a 312ci Thunderbird dual-quad high-performance Special V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. It is one of 39 retractables produced for the model year in this configuration. This example has been treated to a full body-off nut-and-bolt restoration and is loaded with options and accessories. The engine breathes out of a dual exhaust with exhaust deflectors. It is finished in show-quality paint with highly detailed chrome and stainless items. The engine bay and the undercarriage both received the same attention to detail at time of restoration. It is equipped with dual spotlights, backup lamps, bumper over-rider, Continental kit, fender skirts and rocker panel moldings. It rides on Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich wide whitewall tires.
