This 1959 Chevrolet Nomad wagon received a complete frame-off restoration by award-winning D&P Classic Chevy. It is powered by an upgraded GM Performance ZZ3 crate engine paired with a polished 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The engine features Street & Performance serpentine system with custom fuel runners, polished stainless and chrome throughout the engine compartment, custom crossflow radiator. It is also equipped with a 10-bolt GM posi-traction differential, four-wheel disc brakes, 605 power steering, a polished stainless fuel tank, stainless tubular control arms, traction bars and inboarded leaf springs. The exterior is finished in House of Kolor Hot Pink Pearl and black and also features custom front and rear bumpers. The interior has Cadillac power bucket seats in Dove Gray leather, a Panasonic CD stereo with 10 speakers, a smoothed dash with custom gauges, power windows, smoke gray glass, a Vintage Air system and tilt steering. This Nomad was featured in Super Chevy magazine as a cover car, which inspired a Johnny Lightning die-cast model, along with multiple features in several publications. It has received numerous Best of Show awards, including Super Chevy and Pismo Beach, ESPN2 Award of Excellence, First Place at Western Nationals, class winner at the Grand National Roadster Show and Fresno Autorama and Dream Car pick at Goodguys, and was featured in the 2005 Hot August Nights calendar. The purchase includes magazine, calendar, Johnny Lightning die-cast model and a photo album.
