Details
This original 1933 Pierce Arrow 834 Club Sedan is powered by a 366ci L-head inline 8-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. It was a recipient of a full nut-and-bolt restoration and is finished in the factory colors of Silver and Chateau Gray, with the only upgrade being the installation of high-speed rear-axle gears. It features solid front and live rear axles with semi-elliptic leaf springs and four-wheel drum brakes, with a 139-inch wheelbase. This car features a factory-installed full leather interior, which had markings on the back of the rear seat that indicated original delivery in Chicago. Following the nut-and-bolt restoration, this car was exhibited at numerous national concours events, including receiving a Third in Class at Pebble Beach and a CCCA 100-point honor at the Grand Classic in Dearborn, MI, in 2006. As a CCCA Full Classic, this example is eligible for all Caravan Tours and CCCA club events. From The Robert O’Connor Collection.
