In commemoration of 2007 marking the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford roadster, Ford licensed the building of 100 75th Anniversary Deuce roadsters, each carrying a unique sequential serial number. This example has the \"new\" Ford Boss 302ci engine paired with Ford's automatic overdrive transmission. It features a traditional Ford 9-inch rear differential with a 3.89 posi-traction gear and stainless 4-link rear suspension. The 4-inch dropped front axle with cross-leaf spring supports the front. The Dearborn Deuce convertible all-steel body is incorporated exclusively and a traditional boxed 1932 rail is the basis for the perimeter chassis. Each Anniversary Deuce was built as a Hi-Boy design without fenders. A traditional-style gas tank with spreader bars between the front and rear boxed rails is standard. The front headlamps are traditional ‘32 Ford-style mounted on separate stanchions, while the current taillamp features a teardrop design. A traditional hood with open sides follows the all-steel '32 Ford grille shell and custom stainless grille insert. The Anniversary Deuce was available finished in five standard non-metallic colors. Custom chrome wheels are fitted with traditional-style hot-rod tires. The interior appointments include leather-style seating and door panels. The gauge cluster and interior leather feature Ford's “75th Anniversary” logo. For this special project, a new company was formed, Detroit Street Rods, LLC, which was responsible for managing the manufacturing and distribution of all 100 cars. Once completed, the cars were delivered through a select network of Ford dealers nationwide.
