1971 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 351

This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss is powered by the correct factory-replacement 351/330hp Cleveland block paired with the wide-ratio 4-speed transmission with a 3.91 ratio posi-traction rear end. It is equipped with the original carburetor, distributor, fuel pump, water pump, starter, Ram Air system and all-original exhaust system, as well as shock absorbers, power front disc brakes, original space-saver spare, jack and inflation bottle, with Magnum 500 15-inch wheels and Goodyear F60 Polyglas tires. The black Clarion interior is all original with wood-grain accents, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, gauge package, factory AM/FM radio and deluxe 2-spoke steering wheel. It is finished in factory Performance White with Boss 351 graphics. This is one of 21 with these paint/trim codes. This original unrestored survivor was delivered new to Swenson Ford in Philadelphia, PA, and was used as a demonstrator, then wholesaled to Ron Levitt Used Cars in Philadelphia, PA. It was then sold on November 8, 1971. Shortly after receiving his new Boss, the owner dropped a valve which ruined the block. Fortunately, he was a mechanic at Waller Motors Ford/Lincoln in Jenkintown, PA, where it was discovered that the rev limiter was not installed when it left the factory, and the engine was replaced under warranty. This is one of 1,806 Boss 351s produced in 1971. The sale comes with the original Build Sheet, title, books/manuals, dealer sales contract, notarized history, actual mileage verification and Marti Report. 11,791 miles (not indicated on title).
