Details
This custom 1969 Lincoln Continental sedan is powered by an aluminum LS3 V8 engine with a Stage 2 cam and internals mated to a built 6L80E automatic transmission. It is equipped with an aluminum radiator with dual fans and a transmission cooler with its own fan under the left fender. The full 3-inch exhaust is hooked to Borla mufflers with 3-inch cutouts. The Ford 9-inch rear end has been narrowed 22 inches with a billet locking center section equipped with 4.11 gears. The rear end and all
suspension parts were powder-coated gloss black, as well as the Choppin' Block front A-arms with a custom-built sway bar. The rear suspension has been modified and tubbed with a custom subframe and one-off 2-link setup that holds the rear end. The air suspension is controlled by AccuAir management with dual Viair 480 compressors and a 7-gallon tank. The brakes have been upgraded to 4-wheel disc with painted calipers and hydro-boost assist. The light blue metallic exterior is equipped with new weatherstripping and gaskets from Steele Rubber, chrome has been replated and all stainless polished, exterior lights have been swapped to LED and there are color-changing LEDs under the car. This is one of the models from the last year for suicide doors. The dash has been finished in fiberglass, slicked-out and custom-painted. The air gauges were retrofitted into the factory ashtray and Dakota Digital gauges were installed to check all vitals. The interior - including seats, door panels, carpet and the headliner - was reupholstered to original specifications and all the interior trim was repainted. The sound system includes dyno-matted floors, two P3 12-inch subwoofers in a custom box in the trunk and a pair of 6x9-inch Rockfords hidden under the rear dash, as well as 6.5-inch Rockford components in the kick panels. There are two Rockford amplifiers hidden under a vintage suitcase in the trunk. The car sits on Intro Spyder wheels. The batteries consist of a yellow-top battery for audio under the suitcase and a red top under the right fender. The fuel cell was relocated to the trunk, which also houses a vintage ice chest.
