1960 MERCEDES-BENZ O 319 B PANORAMIQUE

The Mercedes-Benz O 319 B was a panel van introduced in 1960 as part of the company's 'O' (Oberklasse) series. The Panoramique model featured a large glass panel in the roof for a panoramic view for passengers, with seating for eight, cargo space and a rear-mounted diesel engine. This 1960 Mercedes-Benz O 319 B Panoramique underwent a comprehensive restoration process. With the majority of its body parts being replaced, only the front cover and rear panel retain their originality. The frame was stripped and repainted, and the gauges were fully restored to their former glory. As one of the few remaining models of its kind in North America, it boasts 22 expansive windows that provide panoramic views and 12 seats, and its Webasto roof opens for added enjoyment. Powering this classic is its original 1.9-liter inline-4 gas engine, which delivers 120hp and up to 105 ft/lbs of torque. The 4-speed manual transmission, overhead valves, aluminum alloy engine block and single carburetor make this Mercedes O 319 bus a one-of-a-kind find. Riders will be pampered with upgraded Mercedes seats, while the driver's and front passenger seats remain original. The restoration process was carefully documented with extensive photos on file.
